SHIPPING POLICY
Being located in South Florida Yami Chocolates recommends choosing the quickest shipping option possible. We understand this can result in higher shipping costs but this is the only way we can ensure the product will reach its destination safely. Yami Chocolates will not be held responsible for any damage to packages (due to heat or other) during shipping.
All orders will be processed the same day if placed before 1 pm, after that it will be processed by the following business day. Some of our products are done by order to keep their freshness and could take several days to make. Your order will ship within 2-5 business days after being processed unless a future date is requested. You will always receive a confirmation with your tracking number via email or text once your order has been shipped.
When placing your order please keep in mind weekends or holidays. We do not ship on Saturday or Sunday.

You must provide a United States street address including the appropriate suite or apartment numbers when necessary to ensure proper delivery. We do not ship to P.O. boxes. Someone must be home to receive the order, as it must be signed for at delivery.
Make sure you provide the accurate name, billing address, shipping address, and method of payment. We are not responsible for errors in the provided information and any costs resulting from such errors.

Shipping Selection
Not all the orders are the same and they are not all shipped the same. You will be notified of any shipping changes needed for your specific order by email or text before the order is completed. If the changes are accepted by the client, we will then complete and confirm the order.

Recommendation

Because we are shipping from FL where temperatures are high, all of our packages must have cold packs and an insulated box. This is covered by our handling charge.

For locations with temperatures up to 85°, orders must arrive within 2 days.

For locations where temperature exceeds 85°, orders must arrive in 1 day.

Ship only to destinations where someone will be there to sign and bring the package in from the heat.

We can't take responsibility for the weather, but if we determine that your chocolate will arrive melted, we will contact you for further instructions or shipping upgrades.

Delivers next-business-day by 3 p.m. to most U.S. addresses; by 4:30 p.m. to rural areas; and by 8 p.m. to residences.

FedEx Priority Overnight (most recommended during summertime)
Delivers next-business-day by 10:30 a.m. to most U.S. addresses; by noon, 4:30 p.m. or 5 p.m. in remote areas; by noon, 1:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
Shipping delays may occur for packages going to Hawaii and Alaska due to location. Yami Chocolates is not responsible for USPS or FedEx delays due to weather, mechanical failures, or other factors beyond their control. We don’t issue credits or refunds for USPS or FedEx delays out of our control.
